Im Jahre 1898, acht Jahre nachdem Dracula, Fürst der Nacht, seine Rolle in Bram Stokers Roman spielte, ist die Zeit der Rache gekommen. Was ist der Fanatic Army Painter? FAP ist eine Mixtur aus Schattierung und Lackierung in Einem. FAP ist keine reguläre Farbe und wird in Zusammenarbeit mit Deinen normalen Farben verwendet. Sie lassen die Miniaturen realistisch aussehen und hauchen den Miniaturen leben ein auch wenn man sie nur aus der regulären Spieldistanz(ein guter Meter) ansieht. Heutzutage verwenden die meisten Miniaturenbemaler Schattierungen auf ihren Figuren. Es gibt eine Vielzahl von Techniken zum Schattieren: Inks, Trockenbürsten, Schichten, Schwarzer Untergrund usw. Alle diese Techniken tuen generell das Selbe: sie hinterlassen eine dunklere Schattierung der Farbe in den tieferen Rillen und eine Hellere Schattierung auf den höheren Punkten. Fanatic Army Painter macht genau das Gleiche, aber auf der gesamten Miniatur in einem Durchgang! Normalerweise würde man jede Stelle der Figur mit einer eigenen Farbe Schattieren und Highlights setzen. FAP schattiert die gesamte Figur mit der gleichen Farbe! Natürlich stellt das eine enorme Zeitersparnis dar!
Die Verwendung ist denkbar Einfach: Die Figur wird einfach bemalt, in den Fanatic Army Painter getaucht und nach dem Trocknen noch ein wenig die Basis gestaltet. Fertig. Schneller sind große Armeen kaum zu bemalen.
